The New Leaf Earling Learning Centre is situated at the entrance to the school and offers every modern resource set in a unique location.

When you walk from the Junior School area to the Middle School area, take the bush walk shortcut' and enjoy the shade and tropical bush.

Middle School Courtyard

With  its unique 'decorative tiles' the Middle School Courtyard sees many students enjoying the fresh air while they have lunch or do some school work.

The Senior Resource Centre

Senior Students enjoy spending time looking through the bookshelves. Whether it is for recreation or getting down to serious research, the Senior Resource Centre caters for their needs.

Junior Playground Area

With natural bark ground cover and set in a quiet pocket of palms, the Junior School play area is very popular with the little ones.

Playing Tennis

This may be one of the most unique tennis settings in Queensland. Carved into the red earth and embeded into the lush bush, the tennis school of Excellence makes use of this unique setup.

Rotunda and Play Area

The Rotunda is a focal point for many school gatherings. It is a great place to perform outdoor concerts while the Kookaburras sit in the trees and enjoy preceedings

New Leaf ELC 2

Shade cover is prevalent throughout both SCGS and the New Leaf ELC. Our tropical climate is second to none, but we take sun protection seriously and provide for the comfort of our students and staff at all times.

Archery Class on the Main Oval

With the unique "Main Oval" set in the heart of tropical bushland, it is the focal point to many outdoor pursuits. This includes archery classes for PE.

Senior Resource Computer Corner

Technology plays a large part in our school. The Senior Resource area is just one of numerous places students and staff can access the latest in technology.

Cricket Practice Nets on Lower Oval

The lower oval is home to the practice cricket nets and is used for many outdoor pursuits such as touch, volleyball, rugby and of course cricket

Junior Netball Courts

With a state of the art surface, the dual purpose courts cater for basketball and netball. In the background is the covered court area to cater for any rain interruptions to play.

Undercover Archway Joining Middle and Senior Schools

Walking from the Middle to the Senior areas, enjoy a stroll across a 'dry river' that springs to life after rain. With frogs, birds and various other wildlife this 'bridge' is a fantastic place to stop and look for Kookaburras.
