Club Cricket

Grammar Cricket Club was established in 1997 and fields sides of all ages. Under 10’s play Friday nights with the remaining teams competing on Saturday mornings.

The club aims to provide cricketers with outstanding opportunities to improve their skills and develop a lifelong passion and love for the game. Grammar Cricket Club teams train at the school nets after school.  Grammar is one of the few schools on the coast that provides this club pathway for its students.

Grammar Cricket Club teams compete in the Sunshine Coast Cricket Junior Association competition. This is a long established and highly successful competition with competing clubs coming from as far south as Caboolture and Bribie Island and as far north as Tewantin/ Noosa.

Grammar are looking to field sides from U10 through to U16 for the upcoming season. U8’s are involved in a T20 Blast program that develops skills.

The school is extremely lucky to have the services of Mr Andrew Fearon who oversees training for all teams. Andrew is the current Queensland U15 Cricket coach and has worked extensively with some of the states most talented cricketers. Mr Sam Gardiner (Sunshine Coast Scorchers Captain) works with our U10 & U11 cricketers.

*Fees for U10 – U15 cover all Sunshine Coast affiliation fees, game fees, ball fees, team photo, coaching, a playing shirt and hat.

U10 – $180

U12 – U15 – $240

Recent Successes:

Grammar teams have won a number of premierships although the success of the program is measured by player development in increased playing numbers. A large number of club players have gone on to play representative cricket and senior cricket.
