Club Netball

Background:

Grammar Netball Club was founded in 2000 and has grown to 17 teams in 2015. The club places an emphasis on both participation and performance as we try to cater for girls of all ability levels. Players are given many opportunities to thrive in a team based environment which is fun and supportive.

The Grammar Netball Club is very fortunate to have a large volunteer base and a passionate committee who promote the sport and support our many teams.

Competitions:

The Grammar Netball Club competes in the Sunshine Coast Netball Association Competition. We are one of the few schools (and largest) who compete as a club against other towns and clubs in the region. All fixtures take place on a Saturday morning at the Fisherman’s Road Complex in Maroochydore.  The club netball season runs from February through until September.

Teams:

In 2015 we have 17 teams ranging the modified rules competition for the 8 year olds through to Division 1 for the open age girls.

Coaching:

Grammar Netball is lucky to have the services of Club Coach Kim Howard. Kim is dedicated to helping our players perform to the best of their ability as well as assisting our volunteer coaches with their roles.

Fees:

Our fees for 2015 were $245 for Modified Netball and $275 for divisional netball.

Recent Successes:

In 2014 Grammar teams enjoyed success across all divisions with a number of teams involved in finals.
