Newspapers in Education

Newspapers in Education is all about literacy through partnership – a partnership between the Sunshine Coast Daily, local businesses and all local primary and secondary schools. 

Working closely with the Sunshine Coast Daily as a diamond sponsor of its Newspapers in Education program, Grammar has assisted the Sunshine Coast Daily to distribute a school pack of newspapers and education material which is curriculum linked to all schools throughout the Sunshine Coast as well as TAFE, various adult education and the Nambour Hospital Children’s Ward.   This pack of curriculum-linked material ensures that newspapers remain an innovative tool for use in the classroom by all students and enhances children’s knowledge of current affairs.

By partnering with the Sunshine Coast Daily in sponsoring their Newspapers in Education program the Sunshine Coast Grammar School is reaffirming its commitment to education for all children throughout the Sunshine Coast. 

Australian Institute of Company Directors

The Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) is the peak body for directors, offering board level professional development, director specific information services, and representation of directors’ interests to government and the regulators.

AICD has a membership base drawn from industry, commerce, the professions, government and non-for-profit organisations. 

By partnering with the AICD on the Sunshine Coast the School is supporting AICD to provide relevant information and advice through all Sunshine Coast activities and programmes specifically for the local business community.
