The Grammar Fitness Centre provides a fun and supportive environment with qualified gym instructors and personal trainers.
The centre is located on the school grounds next to the tennis court (in the big green shed) this provides easy excess for students ,staff and parents and is specifically designed to meet the needs of the school community.

Low Impact- Combines basic aerobic and exercise moves to music to get the heart rate elevated and your body conditioned. Taught in a fun environment are must for those just starting out.
Circuit- Using light weights and cardiovascular activities. Work at your own pace, it’s a class that caters for all fitness levels
General Pilates- A class that teachers a unique method of body control and conditioning – stretching and strengthen the muscles, while improving flexibility and balance. An all over body work out that calms the mind!
Punch- combining boxing movements using focus pads. Learn how to combine punches with power and speed an excellent way to burn that body fat and release you frustrations. Work at your own pace.
Long Term Athletic Development
Whether your child is a promising elite athlete, a regular member of sports teams, or struggles with exercise, the long term athlete development program has a number of great things to offer.
- The aim of the program is to attain movement efficiency rather than a focus solely on force generation. By creating a broad base of motor learning, Grammar students have the ability to specialise or acquire a variety of new skills.
- A reduced risk of injury. By undertaking a screening on flexibility, functional movement and muscular-skeletal alignment, programs can be individually based to each person’s needs.
- The exercise continuum model we use has been developed by Kelvin Giles a leader in athletic development for athletes of all ages.
Personal Training
We focuse on engaging people in fun and motivating sessions that incorporate strength, aerobic, core postural exercises, nutritional advice and a supportive environment.
Personal Training is a flexible way to get fit and maintain a healthy balance. Easily included into varying work and social schedules, we will create individual programs allowing you to enjoy greater energy levels to all aspects of your life.
