This year Sunshine Coast Grammar School celebrates a new milestone as the school community celebrates twenty-one years since the turning of the first soil.
With celebrations taking place throughout 2017, the month of June is of particular importance as it marks twenty-one years since Sunshine Coast Grammar School laid its first foundations in 1996. The annual Foundation Day ceremony acknowledged staff for their service of 10, 15 and 20 years, and finished with the exciting tradition of the ‘Grammar Gift’ house relay race.
Celebrations also include the Glitz and Glamour Ball at Novotel Twin Waters complete with an amazing display of fireworks and fire twirler, as well as showcasing Alumni who have truly embraced the key to success.
As a young school community, Grammar has established a platform for future learning that is underpinned by strength and endurance. Embracing a vision for powerful learning and assisting students to become ethical, responsible and caring citizens of the world.
With one-hundred acres of natural playground, this year Grammar’s largest milestone will come to life with the completion of the Grammar Aquatic Centre.
We are incredibly proud to be celebrating our twenty-first birthday in 2017 with students, families, staff, Alumni, and the wider Sunshine Coast community,” said Principal Mrs Maria Woods.
“Completion of the Grammar Aquatic Centre is the perfect twenty-first birthday gift our school could wish for.”
To this day, Grammar continues to grow and enhance a strong reputation in their community of care, support and the abundant opportunities offered to students from Prep to Year 12.
