Welcome to the Art and Design Faculty.

The Art and Design Faculty is a newly formed cluster of subject areas that incorporates Graphics, Industrial Technology and Visual Art. Primarily we are a department of creation and innovation and collectively we offer courses that develop skills in interpreting, visualising and creating.

What do we teach?

Underpinning our programs is the school philosophy of fostering the needs of the individual and through careful planning we seek to encourage the students to reach their fullest creative potential. Are courses are developmental in nature and are supported by the very latest technology.

What do we want our students to know?

Students in our faculty experience a journey from planning to production. The courses engage learners in making judgements and justifying decisions. Our aim is to develop communication and personal expression while fostering the ability to communicate in two and three dimensional formats.

Art and Design education has a vital role to play in effecting change in our society in terms of problem solving, sharing of common understandings, wisdom of social action, and access to imagination and lifelong learning in the 21st Century.
