Health, PE & Hospitality

Welcome to the Health, Hospitality, and Physical Education Faculty
The Health, Hospitality and Physical Education Faculty was formed in 2005 when the traditional subject departments of Health and Physical Education and Food Technology and Hospitality were amalgamated. Containing two very practical subject disciplines, the HHPE Faculty is very much about "learning through doing".
Central to our approach is the commitment to providing cutting edge learning experiences that are integrated, personalised and allow for the development of self- directed, interdependent and independent learners.
What do we teach?
All courses offered by the Health, Hospitality and Physical Education faculty are developmental in nature, are strongly supported by technology and have been carefully planned across the year levels from Year 7 to Year 12. This is to ensure that students have the necessary knowledge and skills to make informed and responsible choices regarding their health and well being in the area of physical education, health and nutrition. Importantly it also enables students to successfully take on the course requirements in the Senior subjects of Health, Physical Education and Hospitality Studies.
