Humanities

Welcome to the Humanities Faculty
A study of the Humanities aims to better prepare students for the economic, political, social and environmental challenges of our world. The Humanities Faculty at Sunshine Coast Grammar School prides itself on its innovative and dynamic curriculum which is delivered by passionate and informed educators. As a Faculty, Humanities embraces the use of information technologies.
In doing so students are exposed to the diverse range of spatial technologies that are shaping the way we interact with our environment. They are also given the opportunity to further empower themselves as independent learners through our online learning initiatives. Students can feel confident that a study in Humanities enables them to assert their place as active citizens and informed leaders in tomorrow’s world.
What do we Teach?
Our programmes aim to provide a challenging and stimulating learning environment for our students. They are deliberately structured to provide students with directed learning pathways that prepare them for their Senior studies.
