Sunshine Coast Grammar welcomed the ACT Brumbies including past Grammar student Blake Enever to the school last week ahead of the Brisbane Global Rugby Tens Tournament held over the weekend and in the lead up to their pre-season game this week against the Chiefs.
The Grammar rugby players had the opportunity to learn from the professionals who set up a number of drills and coaching sessions for the boys.
Head of Rugby at Sunshine Coast Grammar School Mr Will Urquhart was thrilled to welcome the Brumbies to the school.
“It’s really inspiring for our younger players to meet and have a run around with the Brumbies while our older teams got to take away some real skills and wisdom that elite players at this level have to offer,” said Mr Urquhart.
“The players were also really excited to see Blake back at the school and speak to him about his recent selection in the Wallabies line up. Blake is a real inspiration for players at the school, proving that with hard work and determination dreams can become a reality.”
