Troy will compete in the 50m Butterfly, 200m Butterfly, 50m Freestyle, 100m Freestyle & relays, while Lucy will compete in the 400m Individual Medley and Liam will competing in the 50m Backstroke.
Troy and Lucy also competed in the Australian Age Championships in Sydney earlier in the year with both swimmers posting numerous personal best times and Troy winning silver in the 200m Butterfly.
Sunshine Coast Grammar School Aquatic Centre Manager and Head Swim Coach Luke Stafford has been working tirelessly with the various swim squads over the past 6 months and is incredibly proud of these swimmers on their achievements to date.
“These young swimmers have really risen to the challenge and been prepared to do the work in the lead up to selection, which has really paid off for them,” said Mr Stafford.
“We look forward to competing against some of the best young swimming talent in Australia at the championships and look forward to seeing how our swimmers will perform at this level.”
“It is certainly a great opportunity for them to really prove themselves in the pool and grow from the experience.”
