In celebration of the Brisbane International’s 10th anniversary, Tennis Queensland will today visit Sunshine Coast Grammar School to recognise students representing the School at the upcoming Brisbane International School’s Challenge State Finals in January.
The event will encourage students across the Primary school to participate in a number of activities and competitions, while presenting and recognising the Grammar Tennis team which has been selected to play in the Brisbane International School Challenge which runs in conjunction with the world famous Brisbane International.
Teacher in Charge of Tennis at Sunshine Coast Grammar School, Mrs Sandra Ferrier is excited about welcoming the team from Tennis Queensland and says that the visit will certainly help to promote tennis within the school.
“We are incredibly proud to have a Grammar team in the finals of the Brisbane International School Challenge this year and being recognised today will be a real confidence boost for the players,” said Mrs Ferrier.
The team from Tennis Queensland will also bring with them the Brisbane International trophies, which will be on show for the students to see.
