Sunshine Coast Grammar School is excited to announce the appointment of Lyn Pugh as their Head Netball Coach for 2019.

Lyn brings with her extensive playing and coaching experience and is committed to developing strong skills and enhancing personal development for young athletes.

Currently completing her Netball Australia Advanced Coaching Accreditation under the direction of Queensland Under 19’s Head Coach and mentor Simone Nalatau, Lyn has also been selected as Sunshine Coast Netball Associations Representative Coach for 2019.

Most recently Lyn was the Netball Coordinator at St Andrew’s Anglican College, the Assistant Coach of the Suncoast Lynx Under 19 team which played in the Queensland State Netball League and the Netball Queensland Emerging Talent Program Coordinator for the Sunshine Coast Region.

Principal at Sunshine Coast Grammar School, Mrs Maria Woods believes that Lyn’s experience and skillset in being able to coordinate players and teams from across a broad range of ages and abilities will be crucial for the role.

“Lyn is an accomplished player who has represented Australia and Queensland in the Indoor Netball arena, while captaining a number of state youth netball teams during her career,” said Mrs Woods.

“We look forward to welcoming Lyn to our team and working with her to continue to build our Netball program”.
