After an extensive recruitment and interview process, Sunshine Coast Grammar School is proud to announce that we have appointed Mr Darren Macleod-Paterson as our new Head of Secondary School to commence in 2021.
Darren joined Grammar in 2009 as a Marine Studies teacher, was then appointed Head of Learning Area – Science, and has since been the Dean of Students – Secondary for almost nine years. Prior to Grammar, Darren was the Head of Middle School at Caloundra City Private School. Darren stepped into the acting Head of Secondary role in Semester 1 this year and embraced the baptism of fire as a global pandemic hit, exemplifying through his leadership, ‘Strength of Purpose’. Darren is highly respected by the Grammar community, both past and present.
