Over the weekend, our school community gathered for the third annual Grammar Long Lunch – a signature event that transforms our main oval into a vibrant venue filled with delicious food, live entertainment and a strong sense of community.

Guided by our wonderful MCs, 92.7 Mix FM radio host and current Grammar parent, Sami Muirhead, alongside our Dean of Co-Curriculum Mr Mark Henricks, guests enjoyed an afternoon of laughter, connection and a shared commitment to our school.

A spirited auction led by past Grammar student and current parent, Marcus Muir, added energy to the day and helped us raise funds for our growing bus fleet.

Guests were treated to delicious catering by the Tuckshop Company and live entertainment from Birdman Randy, which had guests on their feet throughout the afternoon.

The event was a true testament to the generosity and warmth of our community. Thanks to your support, we will soon be adding to our bus fleet to enhance student access to co-curricular programs, excursions and sporting events.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our sponsors, supporters, donors and volunteers who made this event possible. Your generosity and contributions were invaluable in ensuring the day’s success.

While the magnificent tents may be packed away, the spirit of our Grammar Long Lunch lives on in the stories shared, connections made and the legacy of your generosity that continues to shape our school.

Our photographer, Sean Saunders (Class of 2022), captured the spirit of the event, and images are now available on GECO Galleries.
