Sunshine Coast Grammar School recently celebrated a significant milestone, marking 30 years since its foundation, with a series of events that brought together students, staff, alumni and families.
A key highlight of the celebrations was the official opening of the new Primary Precinct, a major milestone for the school. The completed precinct features three purpose-built buildings, alongside a new cafeteria for students, staff and families, creating a modern and welcoming environment designed to support educational excellence.
As part of the celebrations, Grammar held a special 30 Year Foundation Day Assembly to acknowledge Year 12 lifelong learners - students who have been at the school since Prep - their families, as well as long-serving staff who have helped shape the school for three decades.
The school community also came together for a memorable Gala Ball, held in a transformed Grammar Hall. The evening celebrated the school’s history and future, and brought together current and past members of the Grammar community. The event provided a fitting opportunity to celebrate the people, achievements and shared experiences that have contributed to Grammar’s success.
Complementing this milestone was the launch of the Watch Us Grow campaign, a community-driven sustainability initiative that reflects Grammar’s commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable growth.
Through the campaign, students, staff and families contributed to the planting of more than 1,000 native seedlings. Delivered in partnership with the school’s People, Planet and Progress program, spearheaded by Principal, Mrs Anna Owen, the initiative gives every student the opportunity to leave their mark on Grammar’s future.
Principal Mrs Anna Owen said the milestone reflects both the strength of the school’s history and its focus on the future.

The completion and opening of the Primary Precinct reflects Sunshine Coast Grammar School’s continued investment in high-quality facilities, ensuring students are supported to thrive academically and personally.
