On Friday 20 June the Sunshine Coast Grammar School community will gather to commemorate 29 years since the sod was turned on our unique rainforest playground. This unique milestone is a celebration of legacy, ambition and spirit of the Grammar community.

The event unites students, staff, alumni and families to celebrate the journey of the school and our enduring legacy. As part of the celebrations, we also acknowledged our Lifelong Learner students and their families, alongside our dedicated staff who have served our school community for 10, 15, 20 and 25 years.

The school was privileged to host distinguished guest speakers, including accomplished alumna Karri Culph (nee Dares), Class of 2005, long-serving staff member Amanda Collins, and Lifelong Learner student Marley Reeves (Year 12), who shared their inspiring stories and favourite memories from their time at Grammar.

The school celebrated the traditional running of the Grammar Gift, with a fiercely competitive race around Jabulani Oval, followed by cake to mark the significance of the occasion.

Through their actions and commitment, our students and staff, past and present, have exemplified what it means to be part of the Grammar community and live the motto, Where Passion Meets Purpose, every day. Grammar’s sense of pride, community, and green heart runs deep and it is these foundations that make our school unique.

Looking ahead to the future, Sunshine Coast Grammar School sees a school community looking purposefully to a future of distinction. As one of the fastest-growing schools on the Sunshine Coast, we remain committed to holistic education, supplying world-class facilities and dedicated teaching staff that allow students to excel academically and personally.

“Our commitment to growth is not just about buildings, it’s about our people – our community, our students, our families and our staff. Every decision we make is guided by our values of People, Planet and Progress,” said Principal, Mrs Anna Owen.
