Sunshine Coast Grammar School has celebrated major triathlon success, with Year 11 student Addison Houslip securing two titles and fellow teammates Will Kisby and Jude Brimelow achieving strong top‑15 results at the 2026 Oceania Triathlon Junior Championships in Devonport.

Addison claimed double victory, winning both the U20 Women’s Junior event and the U20 Junior Mixed Relay. Fellow Year 11 students Will Kisby and Jude Brimelow placed 11th and 14th, respectively, in the U20 Men’s Junior Men’s event, with Will also securing third place in the U20 Junior Mixed Relay.

Reflecting on her double victory, Addison highlighted the significance of competing in Devonport.

“The championships in Devonport have a history of big names and I’m hoping to follow in their path,” added Addison.

All three students are strong triathlon athletes, having represented Queensland and Australia in Triathlon in recent seasons. Addison is already a three-time national champion and both Jude and Will have a history of podium finishes at major school and state competitions.

Past students Hannah Pollock and Grace Brimelow (Class of 2025) added further to Sunshine Coast Grammar’s results, with Hannah claiming third place in the U20 Women’s Junior event.

Paralympian Grace Brimelow claimed her third consecutive title in the PTS5 Women’s event. Grace is a decorated international para-triathlete and continues to build an impressive career representing Australia.

Congratulations to all athletes!
