Sunshine Coast Grammar graduates celebrate with traditional Walk of Honour

We were honoured to gather together today and celebrate our Year 12 students at our Graduation Assembly and Walk of Honour, a symbolic procession signifying the end of their high school journey and the beginning of a new chapter.

Today is a significant milestone as thousands of school leavers from across Queensland conclude their schooling journey and farewell their teachers and peers for the very last time.

For students at Sunshine Coast Grammar School, it is a day filled with many emotions as more than 1400 fellow students, parents, teachers and friends lined the pathways for the traditional Grammar Walk of Honour to congratulate and farewell the Class of 2023.

Sunshine Coast Grammar School Principal, Mrs Anna Owen expressed excitement about the upcoming graduation ceremony.

“The Walk of Honour is a tradition that encapsulates the essence of our school spirit. It is a moment of pride for both our students and the entire Grammar community. We look forward to celebrating the accomplishments of our Year 12 graduates.”

Sunshine Coast Grammar School prides itself on fostering a sense of community and academic excellence, and the graduation ceremony is a testament to the dedication and hard work of students, teachers and families.

“Sunshine Coast Grammar School staff and school community congratulate our Year 12 Graduates on all of their achievements in 2023. May each of you continue your own unique journey with passion and purpose,” said Mrs Owen.
