Gateways to Grammar

Grammar hosts a welcome and orientation morning the week prior to school commencing in the new academic year, we call this ‘Gateways to Grammar’. The morning is held prior to the start of the new school year and is designed to provide students and parents with all the information they require to ensure a smooth start to the school year.

YEARS OF ENTRY

Depending on which year level your child will be commencing in, the school has specific information to assist you. Additionally, if you have more than one child starting at Grammar, please ensure that you have reviewed the relevant information pertaining to each child. Students starting at the commencement Term 2, 3 or 4 will receive an orientation email from our Enrolment Office that will include important uniform and IT information.

  • Prep

    Prep

    New students starting in Prep are invited to a specific orientation program in the preceding year of commencement. The Prep Orientation program consists of two mornings held in October designed to assist families with their transition to Grammar. Parents will recieve an invitation from our Enrolments Office to the Prep Orientation in the weeks leading up to the event.

  • Primary School

    Primary School

    Enrolment in non-intake years is subject to availability. Due to the strong demand for places, there is limited availability in all non-intake years. Applicants for non-intake years will be placed on our waitlist and families will be contacted should space become available.

  • Secondary School

    Secondary School

    Year 7 is the transition into secondary education, where students adapt to a broader curriculum, new learning environments, and greater independence. These intake years ensure a structured progression, supporting students’ academic and personal growth.
