We are excited to invite expressions of interest to play with Grammar Netball in 2026! If you are passionate about netball and representing Grammar, we would love to hear from you. Netball trials and nominations for School and Club Netball will commence very early in Term 1, 2026, including District Trials. Please email netball@scgs.qld.edu.au if you have any questions.
Players
Complete the 2026 Grammar Netball Expression of Interest Form to trial to play in the Monday Night Secondary Schools Competition and/or the Saturday Club Competition.
If you wish to be considered for Independent District Trials, complete the 2026 Independent District EOI form by Tuesday 3 February 2026.
Key Dates
If you would like to know more about netball at Grammar, we will be hosting an information session on Thursday 29 January in the Grammar Lecture Theatre from 12:40pm–1:20pm.
School Netball Trials
School trials will be held in Grammar Hall in late January and early February during the times below:
- Senior Trials (Year 11-12): Friday 30 January, 3:30pm–5:30pm
- Intermediate (Year 9-Year 10): Thursday 5 February, 3:30pm-5:30pm
- Junior (Year 7- 8): Friday 6 February, 3:30pm-5:30pm
Club Netball Trials
Club trials will be held in Grammar Hall in February during the times below:
- Sunday 8 February 1:00pm-5:00pm and Sunday 15 February 8:00am-12:00pm
- Wednesday 11 and 18 Febraury, 3:30pm-4:45pm for NetSetGO Trials (students born 2016–2019)

To nominate to play in the SCISSA Schools Competition played on a Wednesday night please wait until school starts and we will have an internal school form to complete for you in orientation week. Please note this is for high school students only.

Key Information
Grammar participates in the Sunshine Coast Independent Schools Sports Association (SCISSA) competition which is open to students from Years 7–12.
Season 1 commences in the Week 3 of Term 1 with a Junior competition for Year 7 and 8 boys and girls and Intermediate competition for Year 9 and 10 boys and girls.
Season 2 commences later in the year and caters for Year 11 and 12 boys and girls.
All compeitions are run as weekly inter-school fixtures with training sessions held during school hours or after school with a focus on skill development, teamwork, and school representation in a competitive but supportive environment.
Opportunities exist for selection into district and regional representative teams and further development through school sport channels.
Grammar Football Club
Grammar Football Club operates as a community football club aligned with Football Queensland – Sunshine Coast and is represented by boys and girl’s teams from Under 6 through to Under 15.
The seaon runs from February to September, with pre-season training beginning Week 4 of Term 1.
Training and matches are held outside school hours on a Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30pm to 5:30pm on Lower Oval and Training Oval, with weekend fixtures across the Sunshine Coast region starting from Saturday 28 February.
Grammar Football welcomes players from both within and outside the school, promoting inclusivity and club spirit with an emphasis on long-term player development, coaching excellence, and fostering a love for the game.
SWIMMING
Welcome to Grammar Swimming! If you would like to get involved in the Grammar Swimming program we would love to hear from you. Our nominations for events will commence early in Term 1, 2026. Please email swimming@scgs.qld.edu.au if you have any questions.
Twilight Swimming Carnival
The first event on the Grammar Swimming calendar is the Twilight Swimming Carnival held on Thursday, 5 February at the Grammar Aquatic Centre from 4:00pm-7:00pm.
This carnival caters to both primary students (born 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017) and secondary students (12 years to Open age groups.
Nominations for the Twilight Swimming Carnival close Friday 30 January.
